“ If ever in town again I am coming here! One of the best burgers ever, so much flavor and just the right amount of messy! Considering how crazy expensive everything is right now, it was reasonably priced. They were invaded by a bunch of us, my group alone was 8, that were on break from a big meeting. There were only 2 workers, it's off season after all, and they handled it brilliantly. Neither got stressed ( or at least didn't show it) they just diligently moved forward. It took a long time to get my food, and that would have lost a star if the circumstances were different. They had a solid line of groups of 4 to 8 plus the random singles. So that's why they get all the stars. They handled it brilliantly, even when the groups had to switch to take out, because we all had to get back. They just smiled and handled each thing as it came at them. If I was the owner or their boss, (small joint, one of them may even be the owner/boss) I would be very proud. ”

“ Cozy little spot to grab a delicious burger! Right from the jump I KNEW I had to have a burger. Bartender was polite and asked what I wanted, I replied “a burger, surprise me!” I was not disappointed. Presentation was not disappointing. Nice sized patty stacked with some onion rings, accompanied by fresh jalapenos all put together on a brioche bun. The flavor profile was out of this world. Hints of garlic, mild white cheese, sweet and crisp of the fried onions, topped with the flavor of the jalapeno. I was expecting some heat, but there wasn’t really any, which I was surprised by. Service was quick and top notch. Whenever I’m in the area again, I’ll make sure to pop in and have another “surprise” burger. I wasn’t disappointed the first time, let’s see if we can keep that streak going! ”

“ We were really craving a great burger on the way home from Victoria BC. The Rail in Port Angeles is fantastic! We ordered the Porter mushroom burger and the Ollie burger. All aspects of each were perfectly executed. Meat was flavorful, well seasoned and perfectly cooked to order. The same attention to detail was carried out with all of the toppings. The onion rings and french fries were also perfectly crisp-cooked and seasoned. The cook was super-busy and just kicked a! Bonus: Nice pour on the pre-meal cocktail! ”
